Jesiel Pinheiro is a Brazilian saxophonist, holding a Bachelor's degree in Saxophone from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and the Licence d'Artiste Interprète diploma from the Conservatoire Regional de Rouen, France, where he studied under the renowned professor Marc Sieffert.
With a well-established international career, Jesiel Pinheiro has performed as a guest musician in major concert halls in Brazil and abroad, including the Teatro Colón (Argentina), Sala São Paulo, Casa da Música do Porto (Portugal), Centro Cultural de Belém (Lisbon), Sala Minas Gerais, and Convento São Francisco (Coimbra, Portugal). These performances took place in collaboration with renowned orchestras such as the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP), Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra, Porto Alegre Symphony Orchestra (OSPA), and the UCS Symphony Orchestra (OSUCS).
His role as an educator is also a significant part of his career. Jesiel Pinheiro has taught and shared his expertise with students of various nationalities in countries such as Brazil, Peru, Portugal, and Argentina, with notable engagements as a professor and soloist in festivals like the European Saxophone Congress (Portugal), the International Saxophonists Meeting of Tatuí, the Northeastern Saxophonists Meeting, the International Saxophonists Meeting of Brasília, and the UFMG Saxophonists Meeting.
A Buffet Crampon artist, Jesiel is also the artistic director of the International Saxophonists Meeting of Porto Alegre.
