Member of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra

Born in Tochigi Prefecture. After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, completed master’s programs at the same university’s graduate school and the Royal College of Music, UK. In 2013, awarded 2nd place in the woodwind category at the 18th Concours Mallarmé 21. In 2017, finalist in the 34th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition. In 2019, won 1st place in the 88th Japan Music Competition and received the Segi Prize. As a soloist, has performed with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra, Kosei Wind Orchestra, and others. Has appeared on numerous media programs such as NHK-FM’s “Recital Passio” and TV Asahi’s “Music for Titles.” Studied oboe under Takahisa Saito, Tetsuya Tabuchi, Tsuyoshi Kono, Yoshiaki Obata, Seiju Aoyama, Jin Wakui, and C. Nicklin, and cor anglais with S. Bohling. Since 2022, serves as oboist of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra. Member of MCF Orchestra Tochigi and Tochigi Future Ambassador.
