Philippe Grauvogel

Member of the Ensemble intercontemporain and professor of oboe at the Conservatoire d'Antony
Philippe Grauvogel began his musical training with Roger Raynard and Yves Poucel. He entered the Conservatoire de Paris (CNSMDP) in 1989 in the classes of David Walter and Maurice Bourgue. He received two first prizes in chamber music and the first prize in oboe. In 1994, he became a member of the Itinéraire, which allowed him to approach the contemporary repertoire, meet many composers and participate in multiple creations.
In 1996, he joined the Orchestre Poitou-Charentes as a solo oboe, where he played in a wide range of repertoire, both classical and contemporary, and participated in national and international festivals. Philippe Grauvogel regularly plays in major opera and symphony ensembles such as the Opéra de Paris, the Opéra de Lyon and the Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France.
He also performs in chamber music, particularly in the baroque repertoire with Bruno Morin on organ and Joël Pontet on harpsichord. In 2010, he became a member of the Ensemble intercontemporain. In parallel to his activities as an interpreter, Philippe Grauvogel is professor of oboe at the conservatory of Antony.
