Yuka Nagato

Yuko Suzuki graduated from Osaka College of Music. and completed her graduate studies at the same university. Nagato performed at her university's graduation concert, the Clarinet Newcomer Concert, the Yamaha Newcomer Concert, and the Azalea Newcomer Concert, and she was selected for the 4th Takarazuka Vega Competition. She won the Osaka 21st Century Association Award at the 8th Settsu Music Festival, and the Encouragement Award at the 2nd French Music Competition. Nagato completed master classes with J. Lancelot, G. Deplus, M. Arrignon, and J. Di Donato, and studied under Kouichi Honda, Kazuko Ninomiya, and Jiro Murase. Currently, she is a Specially Appointed Associate Professor at Osaka College of Music, a lecturer at Dolce Music Academy, and a member of Nishinomiya Musicians' Association. She presides over the ensemble groups, Ensemble Compagnon and Long Portail. In addition to performing, she is active in conducting and teaching clarinet orchestras, and serves as a judge for various competitions.
